The India Blue Blackshoulder variety will hatch white with streaks of brown on the wing feathers. As the birds mature the peahen will stay mostly white with flecking of black scattered throughout her body, and some brown flecking on the neck. The peacock will continue getting darker until he no longer has any white feathers and looks like an India Blue except he will have a solid black shoulder.
